Heck yes, no Pause button, I'd spent so much time playing the excellent Baldur's Gate series, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, Knights of the Old Republic, it was automatic

I also didn't notice that tiny green circle button that popped up next to the level bar when you levelled, I think I went around with first level attribute points for most of pre-sear

Ditto that little green circle with the plus sign you use to add party members - hah, couldn't figure out for the life of me why I was clicking a person's name and nothing was happening...

im pretty sure that was an update though, i think it was added about the time that i was level 18 on my first character, so it wasn't too noobish, although the fact that i believe i was still struggling to pass gates of kryta at that point was pretty noobish

Oh it existed. And I know that items taken out of the game wern't deleted from your inventory or items (they just don't drop any more). It was there for about the first week (maybe 2) after release. So were the 5/1 Zelous mods.
